- This is a place for dog owners and their canine companions. Please review the park regulations before entering: they are the key to making the dog park experience safe and enjoyable for everyone.
DOG RULES...
- No dogs under four months of age, in heat or not in good health
- No dogs with prong, spike or choke collars (for safety reasons)
NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS ALLOWED
- Dogs must wear a current dog license and rabies tag
- DOG UNDER 30 POUNDS BELONG IN THE SMALL DOG PARK
DOG OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES...
- Immediately clean up and dispose of dog feces: "SCOOP THE POOP"
- At first sign of AGGRESSION, leash your dog and remove your dog from park
- Keep your dog in sight and maintain reasonable control at all times
- Carry a leash for each dog at all times in the park
- Maximum of TWO dogs per owner
- Leash your dog to and from car to entrance for "safety reasons"
- Close dog gates behind you as you enter and leave
CHILDREN - DOG PARKS ARE NOT PLAYGROUNDS FOR CHILDREN
Children under 8 are not permitted in the park. Older children must be supervised by an adult at all times
NO: Food, Smoking, Alcohol or Drinks in Glass Containers Allowed in the Dog Park
USERS OF THE PARK DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. THE TOWN OF HARTFORD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY DOG OR PERSON IN THE PARK
